ABOUT

Originally from Maryland, Matt "Mick" Carmody studied art in college outside of Washington, D.C.  He moved to California and began a career in the entertainment industry working as an actor, writer and director.  Mick balanced working in the performing arts with the visual arts as a syndicated political cartoonist.  His drawings have been published in hundreds of publications around the world and his paintings hang in the homes of art collectors, celebrities and professional athletes.

He uses only the highest quality, non-toxic acrylic and oil paints for rich, vivid and dynamic colors.  All paintings are protected with several layers of varnish for archival stability which also provides a vibrant finish.
